Wealth Accumulation
The Wealth Accumulation strategy is designed to maximize
return for a given level of risk. Clients are assigned a
risk budget which reflects their personal financial
objectives, tolerance for risk, and overall time
horizon.
CLS portfolio managers create client portfolios through
the allocation of the risk budget to various asset
classes. CLS makes adjustments to the allocations based
upon changes in either the risk or return expectations
of the asset class. The goal is to provide a portfolio
which emphasizes attractive opportunities while
maintaining the client’s risk budget.
The key characteristics shared by most Wealth
Accumulation strategy participants include an investment
time horizon greater than 10 years and the ability to
allow the account to recover from downturns.
Investors who measure their results relative to market
indices are likely to find this CLS strategy as their
best match.
